Mark Feinberg’s family-focused prevention work has focused primarily on enhancing coparenting relationships, with a secondary focus on sibling relationships. Both sets of “horizontal” family relationships have received much less attention than vertical parent-child relationships.
Dr. Feinberg will discuss ways in which coparenting relationships have a strong influence on parent mental health, parenting quality, family violence, and children’s adjustment and well-being across the lifespan. He’ll also provide a brief update on current initiatives he’s working on.
This seminar is free and open to the public.
