Held Friday, October 3, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM at the Barron Innovation Hub in downtown State College (with a virtual option also available), this conference will draw in leaders and practitioners from Children’s Advocacy Centers, the respective disciplines of a multidisciplinary team, policy makers and researchers. The breadth and depth of the discussion will lend itself to support enhancement in practice, policy and research directions.

  • Linda Cordisco-Steele, director of Forensic Interview Training and Services, National Children’s Advocacy Center
  • The Honorable Alyssa B. Cowan, judge at the Fifth Judicial District Court of Common Pleas
  • Kasey Jackson, vice president of programs, Children’s Advocacy Centers of Texas
  • Sheridan Miyamoto, director and principal investigator of the SAFE-T Center, Professor Ross and Carol Nese College of Nursing

Breakfast, lunch, and refreshments will be provided.

Credit hours available:  Social workers, marriage and family therapists, and professional counselors licensed by the state of Pennsylvania can earn 6.5 clock hours of continuing education for completing this conference.
