Dr. Glenn Sterner, a Penn State faculty member who advised the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General while developing Pennsylvania’s settlement allocation process, will explain the opioid settlement funding that is currently being distributed to states across the country. We will examine the structure of how the funding is being allocated across the states of Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, and Virginia. We will discuss the implications of these structures on community-based engagement to address substance-related issues. The webinar will finish with key considerations for maximizing the impacts of settlement funds within and across communities.

Our REACH initiative team, funded by the Substance Use and Mental Health Administration (SAMHSA), is hosting this webinar.REACH Logo, Resilient, Engaged, Active Community Health
