We’ll discuss most of the changes in the most recent edition of the APA style guide, with a particular focus on their expanded advice on how to refer to people from various backgrounds (race, ethnicity, sexual/gender minority, disability, socioeconomic status, etc.). We’ll also discuss the pros and cons of APA’s approach for situations other than an APA journal article.
