Early identification of cognitive decline in older adults is critical for the implementation of interventions designed to limit the impact of these changes on daily functioning. Dr. Mogle will lead an interactive discussion of her research funded by National institutes on Aging into which older adults are most likely to experience cognitive decline and whether we can establish reliable early warning signs for preventable cognitive decline. She will also discuss how the ways in which people respond to normal changes in memory can significantly impact their well-being.
