- understanding the public costs associated with behavior disorders,
- the use of appropriate methodology in the behavioral sciences to carry out sound analysis of program impact, and
- the economic evaluation of effective programs in social policy so that the best programs can reach more people.
Dr. Jones has substantial experience with cost-benefit assessments and project resource evaluations. He has authored more than 70 peer-reviewed journal articles, reports, and book chapters. He also has taught statistics and data analysis in the Departments of Health Policy and Administration and Human Development and Family Studies. He received his Ph.D. in quantitative methods from Vanderbilt University in 2002.
I am passionate about working on projects that have the potential for real impact, rather than engaging in research that is shelved and never leaves academia.
