Christina Wissinger is a member of the Penn State University Libraries faculty. She supports the research and educational efforts of the departments of Biobehavioral Health, Communication Sciences and Disorders, Human Development and Family Studies, Kinesiology, and Nutritional Sciences in the College of Health and Human Development. She is happy to help faculty, staff, and students affiliated with the Prevention Research Center to:
- Create search strategies for grant application literature reviews
- Select databases and peer reviewing search strategies for scoping or systematic Reviews
- Investigate and fund materials to add to the libraries’ collection
Dr. Wissinger’s research centers on promoting health literacy at all stages of life. She is especially interested in consumer health information literacy and supporting Pennsylvania residents and members of the Penn State community in finding accessible and reliable information to facilitate personal wellbeing. She joined the PRC to become part of a community dedicated to enhancing everyone’s quality of life through prevention outreach, education, research, and policy.
