We are assisting with planning and coordination of the Cross-Systems Prevention Workgroup (CSPW), an interagency planning collaborative with broad representation from state-level policy makers, county leadership, local human services providers, and coalitions. We are coordinating the workgroup, monitoring performance, provision of resources, and using research evidence to inform the strategic prevention planning process. Project goals are consistent with PCCD’s 2016-2020 Strategic Framework. These include: (1) Supporting an innovative approach to solve current and future problems; (2) Coordinating an initiative developed through collaborative planning efforts; (3) Creating efficiencies for effective cross-system prevention planning within state, county and local agencies; and (4) Piloting evidence-informed solutions to system-wide problems. Our goal through this collaborative venture is to support the workgroup in achieving public health impact for children, youth and families across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
