Sophia Amarillo supports the technical assistance work of EPIS (Evidence-based Prevention and Intervention Support). Her work includes coordinating EPIS’ event registrations and evaluations, creating and editing materials and resources for external audiences, and assisting with data transfer and entry. She also manages the EPIS Twitter and Facebook accounts.

Sophia holds a bachelor of science degree in Human Development and Family Studies from Penn State and has always sought to improve the lives of children and families. Her past experience includes working as a lead counselor and program coordinator at her local YMCA summer camp, as well as being trained as a parent group leader for the Incredible Years program.
