Megan Galinsky works on many Prevention Research Center initiatives, including:
- Evidence2Success,
- Resilient, Engaged & Active Community Health (REACH),
- the Opioid Misuse Prevention Project,
- PROSPER, and
- Evidence-based Prevention and Intervention Support (EPIS).
Her primary roles include tracking, managing, and processing survey data, as well as contributing to reports for internal and external use and to project funders. Using software including Excel, SAS, SPSS, and Qualtrics, Megan provides our teams with data to help communities with their change efforts. She joined the PRC as a research assistant while still an undergraduate student, in 2021.
Megan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Saint Louis University. She is also working on a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling through Lindenwood University.
I have learned so much from my team about prevention and strategies for improving the lives of youth and families. The data I analyze shows the hard work of communities as they strive to improve youth and family outcomes.
