Karilyn Brue recently graduated from Penn State with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biobehavioral Health and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Policy & Administration. As a summer intern for the Prevention Research Center and Evidence-Impact Collaborative, she conducts literature reviews, analyzes health data, assists in policy brief development, and collaborates with teams to evaluate public health interventions. She is focusing her career on conducting research to inform the creation of effective public health policies across diverse international areas.
I want to bridge the gap between research and policy to improve health outcomes and reduce disparities worldwide.
