Jordan Joyce is responsible for the day-to-day management and administration of Pennsylvania’s Prevention Learning Portal (PLP) which launched in October 2023. Jordan collaborates with the Evidence-based Prevention and Intervention Support (EPIS) Project Principal Investigator, Pennsylvania Commission on Crime & Delinquency (PCCD), as well as key stakeholders on strategic planning for supporting statewide prevention education and support. She oversees all activities related to the Prevention Learning Portal, including:
- providing staff training,
- managing teams who build eLearning courses,
- developing external partnerships to contribute to the online learning platform,
- building adult learning opportunities for engagement, marketing & outreach, and
- enhancing workforce development in the field of prevention across the Commonwealth.
Jordan graduated from Penn State with a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. She also attended Penn State’s World Campus and earned her master’s degree in Organization Development & Change. Over the last twenty years, Jordan has worked in the fields of education, mental health, and child welfare. She has also worked as an EPIS Implementation Specialist for eight years, having a great impact on communities and schools across Pennsylvania in providing technical assistance and support. She can now apply her education and experience to expand the PLP and strive to ensure all prevention professionals have a one-stop shop for expanding their knowledge, building their skills, and enhancing their prevention capacity.
