Anna Jo Herron is a fourth-year graduate student in the Department of Sociology and Criminology and a PAMT predoctoral fellow. She studies adolescent substance use. Her M.A. Thesis examined the use of a vape as a precursor to illicit substance use among an adolescent population. Anna Jo received her B.A. in Psychology from Grand Valley State University in 2023 and her M.A. in Criminology from Pennsylvania State University in 2025.

About PAMT

The Prevention and Methodology Training (PAMT) program, funded by a T32 grant from the National Institute on Drug Abuse, trains predoctoral and postdoctoral researchers in the integration of prevention science and statistical methodology for the behavioral sciences.
