The Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center has issued a call for proposals from Penn State graduate students, postdoctoral, or early career researchers (up to 5 years post-graduation) for projects that focus on health disparities experienced by diverse and oppressed populations. Diversity may be defined in terms of (but not limited to) race, ethnicity, immigrant status, sex, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, or geography.

Funds in the amount of $300-$2500 may be requested to support research expenses. Graduate students requesting funding to support their dissertation work will be given priority. Although we anticipate receiving applications from departments in the College of Health and Human Development, students enrolled in any Ph.D. program at Penn State are eligible.

The application deadline is September 30, 2022, and funding decisions will be made by October 31, 2022.
