The Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center (PRC) at Penn State is seeking 1-2 highly motivated video interns – to start this summer or the beginning of the fall 2025 semester.
Paid Social Media Video Internship Available
Where: In-person (University Park campus) or hybrid
Hours: 5-9 hours/week
Pay rate: $15/hour. Selected candidates may also take the internship for COMM 495 credit.

The Edna Bennett Pierce Prevention Research Center (PRC) at Penn State is seeking 1-2 highly motivated social media interns – to start this summer or the beginning of the spring 2026 semester.
The internship is open to undergraduate and graduate students in these Penn State colleges:
- Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications
- College of Health and Human Development
- College of Arts and Architecture
- College of the Liberal Arts
- College of Education
Job requirements
We are seeking a student who is a content creator with experience in Adobe, Canva and CapCut software – and who is comfortable with interviewing and being on camera. The ideal candidate will also have a genuine interest in research and the power of research to improve people’s lives.

Our interns build new skills and a strong portfolio, helping them to launch their careers. They gain experience crafting effective social media posts and developing communication strategies, and they meet interesting researchers and gain valuable professional connections.
