The Impact of Adversity on Neurodevelopmental Trajectories Underlying Substance Abuse Risk: Implications for Substance Abuse Prevention

The Program for Translational Research on Adversity and Neurodevelopment (PTRAN) summer symposium series convenes investigators whose work is or could be aligned with a translational neuroscience approach to developing more effective interventions to disrupt pathways to substance use disorders (SUDs). This series brings substance use investigators and trainees from biomedical/neuroscience and prevention science together with invested stakeholders, with the aim of advancing a transdisciplinary, translational approach to address the gaps in SUD prevention.
