Penn State Clinical and Translational Science Institute presents “Research Recruitment in Rural Communities” at its next Translational Science Seminar Series webinar from noon to 1 p.m. on Sept. 29.

Recruitment is one of the most important yet most challenging aspects of a research study. Recruiting from rural communities can make this process even more difficult. This webinar will help study personnel better understand the barriers of working in rural communities and present practical methods for enrolling rural populations in clinical research.

Kelsey Zapotocky, the institute’s clinical research project manager, will present this webinar.

Online registration is requested.

The Translational Science Seminar Series: “Bench to Bedside and Beyond” encourages an engaged translational science workforce through panel discussions and practical application information.
