Healthy Families America - Philadelphia (PA) Implementation Evaluation
The Prevention Research Center has received a three-year (2000-2002) grant from the William Penn Foundation to evaluate the efficacy of the Philadelphia Region Healthy Families Initiative (PRHFI). The three primary aims of this project include (1) training and technical assistance on the Program Information Management System (PIMS) so that the PIMS will be an efficient information tool for program management and data tracking on program participation, (2) evaluation of the efficacy of the PIMS to answer questions regarding program implementation, and (3) an analysis of the implementation of Healthy Families America (HFA) model in order to provide ongoing feedback to program directors and The William Penn Foundation on programs' strengths and needs. This will be accomplished by qualitative and quantitative data collection from home visiting staff, supervisors, program directors, and associated community partners. Mark Greenberg, Ph.D. is principal investigator; Sukhdeep Gill, Ph.D. is Co-PI. For more information, contact Sukhdeep Gill, Ph.D .
