Jamie's primary research interests surround the interplay between biological and environmental factors in the development of problem behaviors throughout the life course. Specifically, she is interested in identifying
the genetic underpinnings to substance use behaviors, as well as whether and how these genetic factors moderate the influence of environmental exposures on substance abuse over time.
