Liz Morey Campbell currently coordinates the statewide scale-up of Trauma-Focused CBT as an Intervention Program Consultant for the EPISCenter. She works with PCCD-funded projects to facilitate data collection for outcome monitoring, organizes semi-annual learning community meetings for TF-CBT grantees, and coordinates statewide training efforts. She recently coordinated a statewide scoping survey to explore therapeutic services for children impacted by trauma in Pennsylvania. In the future, Liz hopes to continue working with the statewide scale-up of TF-CBT and is interested in learning more about sexual abuse prevention.
Before joining the EPISCenter in 2010, Liz worked as a contract psychologist at the Department of Human Services in Harrisburg, taught psychology courses as an adjunct professor at Shippensburg University and Gettysburg College, and provided outpatient psychotherapy and evaluation in various settings. During her first few years with the EPISCenter, Liz coordinated support for Functional Family Therapy and Multisystemic Therapy programs in Pennsylvania. She facilitated the ongoing development of web-based data collection systems to track state performance measures (INSPIRE), including the development of relevant user trainings and user resources, and conducted the Comprehensive Funding Surveys for FFT and MST.
In addition to her work at EPISCenter, Liz owns and directs Campbell Psychological Services in Carlisle, a group practice that provides therapy and evaluation to youth and families. Liz also volunteers as the Board President of YWCA Carlisle, supporting its mission of eliminating racism and empowering women.
When Liz is not working or volunteering at the YWCA, she can be found cheering on her sons at their sporting events, enjoying the great outdoors, or relaxing with a good book.
